Label your buffers, people!
Chelsea Map Scale: 0/10

While at the AAG conference in DC there were many student projects with maps shown in their presentations. These maps, when combined with buffers often had the word, “buffer” in the legend.  That’s just silly - and unprofessional.  We know its a buffer, but what is it supposed to represent? Well, I’m just not that interested, and I’ve just moved on to the next project board…
(The above map does not show this, rather, it shows the legend with a deletion of the word, “buffer” and the substitution of text that actually means something)
