Chelsea Map Scale: 4/10

I have always had a problem with the DC metro map.  It does a lovely job of differentiating the train lines, and stops - but! You have NO idea where you are and how far you’ve traveled because it is NOT to scale! Not even a little bit! You can’t even compare this with a map that is to scale because it is SO confusing. I feel like our nation’s capital should have a map that can tell us where we are when we exit the train, and in what direction we’re traveling. NYC does a much better job of that with their uptown/downtown situation.
